Sunday, July 22, 2012. This dress is inspired by the gown worn by Lucy Griffiths as Maid Marian in the BBC television series Robin Hood. I created the sleeve lining fabric by machine embroidering the fabric and tea dying it to give it a more unique authentic look. You can see more about this process here. The collar is all hand beaded. The gown laces up the back with a red leather cord and all the eyelets are hand sewn.
